What if I want a custom design?
We offer a full range of custom designs, colors and patterns in all of our products to best suit you.
Can I get my Aggregate in different colors?
Yes. Choose from a large industry selection, which has a broad range of colors and hues… from Sandstone to Terracotta and everything in between, to match any décor.
What is Glow-crete™?
Glow-crete™ is a new, modern, and extremely popular glow in the dark stone added to an exposed aggregate mix, creating a relaxing ambient glow throughout your home.
Is Exposed Aggregate Concrete slippery when wet?
No. The texture on the concrete stops the surface from becoming slippery (unlike other concrete finishes), which makes it a perfect product for around the home or in public areas.
How long after the pour will we have to stay off the concrete?
It can be walked on the next day, but we do recommend you stay off the concrete until we have finished the “clean and seal” component of the job. We recommend that you leave the paving for 5-7 days before driving a vehicle on it.
Does it need sealing?
Sealing isn’t essential but is highly recommended. The sealer works as a stain repellent and also gives the concrete an appealing sheen.
What would cause stones to pop out of the concrete surface?
This is caused by over-exposing. When installed by an experienced aggregate crew, this will rarely occur. Exposed aggregate actually holds up much better and lasts longer than other decorative concrete methods.
Can I personalize my concrete countertop?
Concrete countertops allow you to create colors and finishes not possible with other countertop materials. We produce 3 different finishes. The first is an “upside down process” finish. The second is a “pressed” finish. The third is a “ground” finish. An “upside down process” is one color with many variations in the finish caused by the natural materials. A “pressed process” is a veined finish that may have one or more colors needed. A “ground finish” is achieved by grinding the concrete surface and exposing the aggregate.
Are concrete countertops expensive?
There are many factors that contribute to the price of designing, building and installing concrete countertops which account for the range in the cost overview.
Can I put hot pans on the counter?
We do not recommend putting hot items on concrete. It’s best to use hot pads or a trivet to avoid scorching the sealer. Although concrete itself is heat resistant. Sealers and waxes are often not.
Can I cut directly on the counter?
No. A cutting board should be used instead. Although it may not noticeably damage the countertop it may scratch the sealer leaving an entry point for oils and stains.
How do I clean a concrete countertop?
There are many cleaners on the market that won’t harm your concrete countertop. We recommend plain soap and water or any natural non-abrasive cleaner, such as diluted Simple Green.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. It’s a great product for outdoor use. Concrete countertops also have no grout lines, making them easier to keep clean and dry.
How long does a project take?
Between 10-15 days, depending on size and design.
Can I get the furniture custom-designed?
Yes. You can customize furniture to your size, features, colors and texture.
Is concrete furniture heavy?
The furniture that we manufacture is not heavy. We have invested a lot in technology to come up with light-weight concrete furniture. The products use hollow casting technology and this, in turn, reduces the mass of concrete, thereby making it lightweight.
Is it indoor and outdoor friendly?
Yes. It is both.
How much does concrete furniture cost?
It varies from piece to piece.
Since concrete is porous, is it susceptible to oil and other stains?
The surface is coated with water-based permeable sealer but should be treated with the same care as any other natural stone.
Does the furniture fade?
No. Concrete does not fade.
What is polished concrete?
Polished concrete is concrete that has been treated with a chemical hardener and then ground through with a series of diamond grinding tools and then sealed and buffed to produce a high gloss finish.

Almost any concrete floor. Whether is a new or an old construction, most concrete floors can benefit greatly from the aesthetic, durability, and longevity of polishing.
Can I choose the color of the polished concrete?
Yes, if you are laying a new slab, there are different cement colors to choose from. Now, if you want to polish the concrete of an existing slab then you are limited usually to whatever is already in the concrete.
Are polished concrete floors slippery?
No. Its relatively high level of friction makes it non-slippery. Testing has shown that polished concrete usually meets or exceeds OSHA standards (.50) for slip resistance on surfaces.
How do I maintain my polished concrete floor?
Polished concrete is one of the easiest systems to maintain. The best daily maintenance is to use a pH neutral cleaner followed by clean water for spills, otherwise a microfiber mop will get rid of dust.
Is polished concrete expensive?
Polished concrete is a cost effective alternative comparable to timber, tiles, carpet, vinyl, pavers, stencil crete etc. Prices to suit your particular project are available on inquiry.
